In part three of this three-part course, you will learn 5 tools to build healthier relationships, understand your own emotional states, and foster understanding. 

Part 3 covers the following tools: 

1) Parts and Defenders - How to Get Your Best Self in the Driver’s Seat 

2) Active Listening and 5 Dead-end Communication Strategies 

3) Effective Repair - Steps for Effective Apology and Mutual Validation 

4) Touch Scale - How to Incorporate Physical Contact in an Expansive, Connective Way 

5) Making Bids and Skillful Refusal

Jenn Brandel is a licensed clinical social worker in Boston with over twenty years of experience working as a psychotherapist, trainer, supervisor and consultant. Her work centers around the use of mindfulness and humor to promote compassionate practices, healing and connection.
